Father's Day

We had decided to have a training day for the Kiltwalk as 7 members of the family are walking various distances in aid of CHAS. The 25 mile route, which myself and 2 others are doing, is from St Andrews to Monifieth. Today we were covering 10.5 miles starting at Tayport. It was the first time I had walked over the Tay bridge which was noisy and windy but you get a good view of the new V&A museum which is opening in September.

My dad, CannyScot, joined us in Dundee so we walked the last 5 miles together which is the furthest he has walked in one go before. This is quite remarkable as a year ago he was unable to walk any distance but he will definitely manage the 6 miles he is doing on the day.
