Yellow Buds

These sunny volunteers are showing up in different places in my garden. Not sure what they are called. Happy to let them take over!

Oh dear, I see the slugs are stripping the iris leaves again.
Last year nearly all my iris were destroyed by slugs. This year I am applying the BEST SLUG CURE:  builder's sand  around the bottom of each plant.
The lilies are now saved. Last year all the buds were eaten before developing. Now I see the Oriental lily buds fattening up.
