Boston Public Garden Fun

This afternoon after a cheeseburger lunch, we walked down to the Boston Public Garden where we took a Swan Boat ride on the lagoon.  We were lucky, and got to sit right at the front where we could watch all sorts of ducks swimming frantically out of our way.  (I'm happy to report that no ducks were harmed in the making of this blip!).  We also saw some cute turtles sunning themselves on the ramp leading up out of the water to a small island, and a pair of swans sitting proudly on their huge, messy twiggy nest, incubating what looked like an impressive clutch of eggs.

On the walk back home, we stopped to listen to this gentleman playing his traditional Korean instrument called a haegeum or kkangkkangi.  (We learned something new today!)
