First home-grown raspberries of the year

It is really difficult to know why we bother when we live within 100 metres (will we have to change to meters or even yards if/when Brexit happens?) of a supermarket which stocks larger examples of this fruit in both fresh and frozen forms. I have created further confusion by adding a golden variety to the home-grown range. It demands extra concentration to make them taste like the conventionally coloured ones.
