A Boat So Far

An early short dash with the dogs this morning as it was its the 3rd Wednesday of the month and a guided canal walk day. 
The weather flattered, us the just some light drizzle but a very warm wind.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the above "Dragonfly" moored just above the head of navigation a month before the official opening! It proves I suppose  that the two restored locks are fully functional!
I am looking forward to seeing boats on more sections the canal this summer!
