You want me to do . . . what . . . . ?

The red-tailed tropic birds were squawking and wheeling overhead, their courtship behaviour  in full show.   The day was glorious, except for the vog being carried over from the Big Island by the southeasterly winds.   The pullout was the perfect place to be and I stayed for a couple hours just watching their display and trying to keep them in focus.  They do this flying backwards stunt with both wings raised and fluttering, then dive steeply.  They are such beautiful birds.   I'll be back to try and catch their upright, flying backwards, doing-this-to-impress-you! flying.
