Scarce visitors

Where are all our butterflies ?

On my way back from the fruit farm, I pulled over for a brief stroll round Pipe Hill Heathland. There are usually so many butterflies, including Common Blues.

Today there were two pairs of very flighty Meadow Browns and a solitary White. Luckily this skipper was taking a break when I spotted him.
