Memories of Childhood.

An enjoyable day spent with our holiday group at Cragside, a famous Victorian Mansion built by Sir William Armstrong. It was the first house IN THE WORLD to be lit by electric light and had many other innovations.

The estate has a six mile long carriage drive which you can walk or drive round. It has lakes and woods and many footpaths to explore.
It is of course looked after very well by The National Trust.

The Blip. We have been thinking of our childhood. Mrs.K. Has been looking in rock pools on the beach. My memories are rather sweeter and were found in the delightfully old fashioned village shop.
