Nest of asiatic hornets

This is what we found today in a tree in our garden . Visible now the leaves are falling, it's about a metre in size. The asiatic hornets are now classified as a pest here in France. They are an enemy of honey bees. They hover outside the entrance to bee hives and pick off a bee as it tries to enter , biting its head off! We have an expert remover coming to get rid . If we don't the nest which is now full of queens for next years brood, will carry on the awful destruction of bees .
