The Untrained Eye

Lisbon is built on seven hills just like Bristol where I live. That’s interesting.. maybe....

My picture shows 3 modes of transport, but,
Lisbon had different modes of transport to cover a multi terrain environment including electric powered , wide , narrow and hill trams.

Tracks criss cross the road which are also used by other transport and people.

The roads aren’t particularly wide and many are cobbled which encourages low speed but everything appears, when I was looking in a very limited time, to keep moving .

Preference is always given to the pedestrian or so it seems.

Bristol used to have trams. I wonder if this could be an answer to centre of Bristol congestion......??
