Danger, Man at Work

Actually it's more like Danger, Muppet at Work. DIY is not really my thing.

There is a small area, (2m x 1.7m), in our garden which has a drain cover, slabs, bits of concrete, and who knows what else, in it. It also seems to be the perfect spot for weeds, I'm forever pulling them out.

It's also just where Beloved likes to sit in the sun, and it's been annoying her since we moved here so we've finally decided to try to do something to disguise it.

So I'm building a frame to go around the outside of the area, and another to go around the drain cover and it's concrete surround. The space in between will be filled with gravel, if we can find a supplier who doesn't charge the earth for it, and with 4 decking tiles over the drain.

It'll look a bit strange until the frame weathers a bit but we can call it a 'feature' and get away with it.
