Swallowtail, Newly Hatched

... I think it was because it was a perfect specimen. Often in our area they are a battered pretty quickly. Extra is a detail of its beautiful head. The long lens came in handy for this as the butterfly was not still for very long, there was no way it would have let me sneak up with the macro.
