CRETE DAY 1

# up at ridiculous o’clock....taxi to Gatwick
#the weather was glorious. We just hoped it was going to be that in Crete as they have had days of thunder storms!!!
Flight took off a hour late but made up
time. The hour journey to Elounda went quickly as we chatted and enjoyed the views.
#We had a quiet mountain room.
We had asked for rooms together but the four rooms couldn’t have been more scattered! But it didn’t matter within 30 mins of arriving we were unpacked by the pool.
#In the evening (after a pre dinner drink on H & S balcony) we walked the 15 mins into town for a delicious meal by the waterside overlooking Spinalonga.

Thankful for....safe travel and a fab first day.
