A busy day, with work, with lots of staff on holiday, then met my brother in Waitrose for a cuppa and cake before we needed to go to yet another bank to register the power of attorney. Although all the letters I had found were addressed to Jeanie, it was a joint account so we filled in all the paperwork and then I have to go back for another appointment with Dad's death certificate. But the lady was very kind and helpful.
Then we  headed off to visit Jeanie; apparently she was having a mixed sort of day mood wise. Earlier, a lady (whose husband had been a resident and who died earlier this year), spent quite a while chatting with Jeanie and had brought her mood round again. We sat outside and shared a magazine and newspaper, and watched the bees in the lavender.Tea and more cake, can't refuse David's super cakes. Then back home. Keith left for London and as H and S were eating out, I decided to make a picnic and walked down to the local park to eat it in the sun and read The Big Issue.
