I got everything done on my pre-holiday list! There was also a meeting I didn’t know was happening that ended up being really interesting (and meant a free coffee and sit down exactly when I needed one).

G had his haircut this evening so he met me when I finished and we got chips from the place I’ve been raving about for weeks.

This evening we’ve had a celebratory no-work-for-a-week drink, watched Queer Eye and now he’s learning some French. I’d heard that, while it’s fantastic, Duolingo does also teach you how to say some quite random things. G just learned “neither the bee nor the whale”. I’m sure that will come in handy when he’s in France in August...
