Goldfinch

A visit from a goldfinch, the first one this year, they usually appear on the verbena seed heads at the end of summer.  This one was feasting on the seeds heads of a tall yellow daisy like weed in my neighbours garden.  I took lots of shots of it trying to balance, and swaying about in the breeze.
My friend G came round this afternoon for a cuppa and long overdue catchup........lovely to see her :)
