Spotted

On the little man made island in the middle of the pond, there is one Tree Swallow nesting box, a Killdeer and a Spotted Sandpiper. The Killdeer and Sandpiper quarrel constantly but neither will leave the island for the other.

I deliberately cropped this image to show the Killdeer and its reflection and the reflection of the Sandpiper who was hiding in the grasses avoiding the wrath of the Killdeer.  They amuse me  : )

A cooler, wetter weekend but as hot, humid weather is on its way, I will accept it.  Hope you are having a good one  : )
