The green green grass

I had the pleasure of having to walk to a meeting today through a lovely park, the sun was shining and the colours were amazing - I was struck by how little of the grass I could see for the mass of leaves. In turn it is those fallen leaves that feed the grass to take it into new life in the spring. Clever stuff nature!
