Carskey Bay in the Sun

15.8C with sunny sunshine all day long. Light NW/NNW breeze.

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay.

Seals on the rocks and in the water at Kiel.
Gannets diving close to shore.
One or two terns diving.
A few Ringed Plovers were pottering about on the beach

At Carskey we walked along to the far end and back. Apothecary7 took her paddling flip flops and she and Fergus wandered along the bay in the water's edge. Fergus wanted in and out of the water so his lead was passed back and forth between us. At about the halfway mark Fergus was let off his lead to run about. He duly disappeared into the dunes only to reappear a few minutes later and run straight into the sea. He does enjoy himself on a beach.

Later Apothecary7 was downstairs in the courtyard killing weeds.
