Summer Sunday

A perfect summer’s day, which involved a 15 minute drive to Haddington, the county town. It a lovely town, made even lovelier in the summer sunshine. Martin and I had a relaxing drink outside the Waterside Bistro (see above).

Off to the Hippodrome Cinema in Bo’ness later to see a silent film called Pandora’s Box, a 1929 film starring Louise Brooks. As ever, there will be musical accompaniment, this time by Jane Gardiner, who is brilliant.

Anyway, I hope you have had a similarly lovely Sunday.

Well done to the English football team, great result.
