Today - session 3, certificate in children's ministry, with churches in Waltham Forest. And what an inspiring group they are. Last week I set homework, giving each a small box to fill with items to describe the Christian faith for children. Returning items included lego, hairbands, masks, food, broaches, school books, rosaries, letters, cards, crosses, cubes, hearts, seeds, pictures, flowers, stories and people. When I set the work Frances complained saying no box could ever be big enough to contain what she wanted. So she filled a large box with a helium balloon with the word love trailing from the string. It wouldn't and couldn't be contained. The other contributions were similarly excellent. So whilst England were winning, so we’re we. What a great group of servants!
