The hardy geraniums are reliable flowers in the garden, although they are tricky to photograph if there is any breeze because they are so delicate.
I have been vaguely paying attention to the world cup, and so I see England are through to the next round after scoring lots of goals.  I don't mind the games, it's the discussions about it all that make me want to leave the room.
