Hair raising

I often see rabbits and hares on our dog walk and scrambled for my camera when this one appeared.   Then, wonder of wonders it started running towards us rather than away, and the dog was busy trying to find her ball.  Of course it wasn't quite on the right settings but never mind.

Spent the football match gardening.  James and Ben had gone out with their own friends to watch it.  Martin and Sam watched it here.  There was a great result apparently.

Fighting my way through and cutting down the overgrown shrubs in the garden I noticed a nest.  I stopped work and told Martin about it.  When he eventually came to see it there was a resident bird (see extra).  Will leave that area well alone now - what a great result for me too!
