Through a broken window (DS94)

Another tour around the village for Gill - no painkillers now so she is mending.  Our daughter and her family called in on their way home from a christening ... always a good day when James & Ariadne are about :-)

We pass this dilapidated old building on our walking route - almost in the middle of the village so It is probably very old.  Seriously overgrown with brambles all around and looking more neglected than genuinely derelict - but even the sparrows appear to have given up on it.

I like the way the evening light caught the tree, all new growth as a counterpoint to the state of the building.
