Northumberland - 26C!

We had such a good day. Ella and Nathaniel slept well and after a big breakfast we got sorted for the promised swim. ( They had achieved the required stickers on their reward charts and that was their choice of treat. ) I was pleased to see Ella has got more confident since the last time we took her and she swam 2 lengths on her own, and eventually plucked up courage to jump in. I still am too scared to jump in so I am impressed with her determination.

I made lunch then we headed down to Wallington to meet #2 daughter and family. It was such good fun. The cousins were so happy to see each other and climbed trees for ages before we headed down to the train where they did more climbing. Icecream for everyone on the way back to the car.

We continued to Gosforth and they were happy to see Daddy and looking forward to tell Mummy about their weekend when she got back from Queens and a relaxing tennis weekend.

When we got back we sat on the terrace with a large G and T, enjoying the unusual warmth.

Here are Nathaniel aged 4 and his cousin James aged 3.
