Twilight

It's been a lovely day. I went to the Civic Service to celebrate the new Town Mayor and the lunch thereafter, both of which were very enjoyable. Despite the hot afternoon, I got things done at home and spoke to MrsDroog, who travelled to the South on a banjaxed ankle despite my protests. She is a creature of duty, like me.

Now I need to sleep.
