White Admiral

Now I know where all Staffordshire's butterflies have gone this year!  They must have all stayed a little further south in Worcestershire as I don't remember ever seeing as many butterflies as there were in Trench Wood this morning.  Pristine silver washed fritillaries, white admirals, red admirals, marbled whites, small skipper, ringlets, meadow browns and speckled woods all over the place.  I did not get a sighting of the purple hairstreak that also lives there but I shall certainly return to try again for that.
