Learning to draw

I am completing my sketch book for the textile master class i attend. I know its a backwards way of doing things, and it has really made me appreciate how important it is to do this as you go along.  

I have always said I am very bad at drawing, but I am trying really hard. I have watched YouTube videos and am getting quite into it. Here is some gills of a mushroom. Sketching really makes you look at the lines - which obviously helps with sewing too
