Montaione, Tuscany

Every bit as beautiful as Florence or Venice, yet we had this street to ourselves.
After a wet, thundery ride with several scenic detours, it was lovely to come across this village for a much needed pitstop.
Beautiful!
Also, before leaving Lucca this morning, a lovely walk round the perimeter in the sunshine, up on the tree-lined city wall.
