Far West

At the most westerly point on the British mainland, Ardnamurchan lighthouse has been guiding ships safely through the waters off Scotland's  west coast since 1849. There is a very interesting visitor's centre and you can do a guided tour of the lighthouse.  J and I didn't bother with the tour as we had done several years ago when we spent a week in a holiday cottage at Glen Uig with the family a few years ago.  From there is was a very pleasant scenic journey to our next destination, Mingarry Park guesthouse and restaurant, near to Moidart.
Extras show some of the scenery on the way from Ardnamurchan to Moidart and a deer at the bottom of the garden in Mingarry Park.
