Low Tide

We walked on the sandy beach given the the low tide. The pilings of the wharf revealed sea life that usually is not visible. Eighty percent of the population of sea stars (starfish) along the California coast had been wiped out by a disease. However, they have come back by making a genetic modification and the population is now close to normal.
