Another blip first for me...

... today we have a picture of a cat.

I was out early this morning, wandering around the nature reserve when this black and white cat found me. For the next 15 minutes or so, my new companion wouldn't leave my side. Whenever I stood still, the cat performed 'figure of eight' movements around my ankles.

At one point, I stooped down to photograph a butterfly that had landed on a nearby flower. I was focusing carefully, when suddenly the viewfinder went fuzzy - my new feline buddy was already swallowing the said butterfly!

The friendship was clearly never intended to last!
