Head high they said

We would have liked to have walked to the top of the Mont du Chat, but it was too hot! So we drove up the 14km of zig zag roads to the relais tower at 1500m where we parked. Then we walked through the forest and over many rocks to the Molard Noir viewpoint, from where we could see the Dent du Chat rock which had 5 walkers / climbers picnicking on the top.

The main blip is looking down to the lakes at Saint Jean de chevelu.

We didn't see any cats (chat) on the mountain and don't know why is named after a cats either.
