When it’s soooo hot...

...according to Toffee, the only thing to do is to stick your head in the undergrowth!

Unfortunately I was too big to follow Toffee’s suit, so with a temperature today of 29 degrees in the shade, I sought refugee from the heat indoors, where I’ve just mooched and flopped. Too hot and bothered to do very much...

And now, at 7.30pm, it’s still 27 degrees so I think I shall pour myself a cold drink, sit in the garden and try and revive the lawn with the hose. I wonder if that trick would work on me too...
