RHS Hyde Hall

Another cloudless day. We set off for Hyde Hall, one of the RHS gardens. It is a huge estate with many areas still to be developed. The rose garden is in full bloom and spectacular. The other area we particularly enjoyed was the dry garden, a mass of verbena, grasses, Eryngium all looking wonderful in spite of dry hot weather for several weeks. We treated ourselves to lunch, then went searching for Heath Fritillary with no success.
Back for dog walkies and supper and the end of another great week of holiday!
