Miss A-ok!

Like all good days, this one started at 3am. Miss A was awake and she was hungry. Fair enough, seeing as she was in too much pain to even think about dinner last night. I went downstairs and got us both some cereal and we sat in bed, eating our very first 'Midnight Feast', as Miss A put it. She was in a jovial and talkative mood, right up to 5am when I could take no more and insisted she go to sleep.

Fearing a repeat episode, as had happened with Little D, I cancelled today's playdate and we stayed at home, wrote letters to Santa, coloured in, played dominoes and read. Oh, and not forgetting the 'Hide Under the Duvet' game, played on a daily basis and never tired of! Not once did Miss A complain about her stomach so it seems like we've come through this illness a bit quicker and both she and Little D are thankfully none the worse for it.
