Cogs

Went to see the Hadraw waterfall today - when we eventually found it - badly sign posted or we approached from the 'wrong' side and could not see or read their silly little board.  A short ten minute wander along a well maintained path ended up at a damp squib or small plunger.  It might be the longest drop in this area but not a lot of water was falling due to the drought conditions.  See extra.
On the way back I saw this unusual old implement. No idea what it is for but liked the cogs etc. Maybe a cider press? Hoping someone will tell me.
