Work in the morning, followed by a dash to the bank to take in Dad's death certificate. After nearly an hour, the lovely lady was still struggling to close down this very old bank account, so she told me to go and she would keep trying various ways. She phoned to say that she had managed to do it manually, and that i would have to collect the money and take it to mum's current bank.
It was a very hot day again, and I was really thirsty after doing a bit of food shopping on the way home. I did think perhaps I could munch on the cucumber I had bought, but made it home with the cucumber intact.
I made hummous to go with garlic bread and salads.
