I like truckin’

As the weather got hotter and hotter, yesterday I made a snap decision to hire a car with air conditioning to transport the family up to James graduation in Durham. Although my Zafira is big I wasn’t sure it would fit all five of us (with overnight bags) and the contents of James’s room on the return journey.

This ‘warrior’ was all they had left and I think it’s saved our sanity. The journey here was loooong but not hot and there is a great deal of space for all the stuff, more than we thought, that needs to come home.

The boys didn’t know the truckin’ song - I couldn’t remember the tune only the lyrics. ;-)
