Blue moon

Well the sky around it was blue anyway! We were surprised how bright the moon was tonight before the sky got properly dark. We do not have a camera or lens that can take a clear photo of the moon itself, but I thought the surroundings were worth seeing in themselves.
We’ve had a lovely day. First of all we visited our ‘new’ house this morning. We are definitely very pleased with it and the kitchen is very good with a breakfast bar area. We have been measuring up for curtains - I am getting quite expensive made to measure for downstairs, and then cheaper ready made ones for the two bedrooms. We have also measured the upstairs. The bathroom has some minor plumbing problems, but should be easily sorted. We will redecorate our bedroom before we move in because we are not fans of sage green! We have decided to probably leave the jungle themed parrot paper on one wall as it’s quirky, and so are we!
We then had a McDonalds, went to Tesco’s in Chichester and got the car washed and did a bit of shopping, then went on to my Dad’s as it was his 93rd birthday today. We had strawberries and cream and birthday cake and he blew out his candles (6, not 93!) and I think he thoroughly enjoyed seeing us.
