Anybody know what these are?

I got a bus up to my nephew's new house. The little garden is a gem. We had a beer and a barbecue and a bit of a catch-up. 

I think they will be very happy there. 

I caught the train back to Waverley on the new Border's railway. As I was standing at the station a woman offered me the return half of her ticket as she was not going to use it. I gave her a hug and we smiled. Karma said I.
