In the Field

For me (Chris), a big team meeting in Edinburgh. I picked up a colleague at about 4.30am to get an early flight from Heathrow. Then a quick tram ride to Murrayfield where the meeting was taking place. We were allowed out of the conference rooms and into the stadium in the lunch break (where many photos were taken!), glorious weather. An evening flight back home again, a long but useful day.

It was my (Annie's) final day in Wales today. A morning's work, with a short interlude to see the two orphaned, hand-reared lambs come out of the barn to the main field for the first time (see the extra). They joined the other sheep in the field, now that they're big enough to mainly fend for themselves. They're imprinted on humans, so looked a bit confused at the other fluffy white things in the field - they'll get the hang. It's likely they'll stay at the farm when the other lambs (ahem) go.

My trip back home involved a quick stop at Pendine beach for a paddle. You can't not in weather like this!
