Heavy camera

This is the seven kilo heavy camera who participated in the mad polar expedition that a man named S.A. Andrée made with two comrades. They would fly over the North Pole in a hydrogen balloon in 1897. The flight was over in 65 hours and they crashed on the ice. Three months later all are dead. 33 years later the remains, the camera and a lot of photos and other things were found.
I'm glad I'm not getting such crazy ideas and I'm glad my cameras do not weigh so much. Though I sometimes think that my big camera that weighs 660gr incl standard lens weighs too much!
The camera on my blip and a lot of interesting things I saw today at the "Polar center" in the little village Gränna, where Andrée was from.
