Whoops!

When turning on the oven to pre-heat it for a batch of beautiful home-made bread, my mum forgot that she had left the flan in there to keep flies off it.
By the time she discovered her error, the handle of the sixty-something year-old flan knife had vaporised. The flan was still edible however.

Family members please note; the wiggly dish remains as perfectly intact as ever it was.
