Let sleeping ducks lie

spotted these after they had bathed near the fountain.

After shopping in North Shields we stopped off for a walk around 
Northumberland Park.

The Park was opened in 1885 by his Grace Algernon the 6th Duke.

I am guessing it's the same Duke responsible for the building of the Grand Hotel.
