Got our coach (it was a bit late) to Swansea nice and early. We headed straight for the beach to eat our lunch, and then headed back for a drink in town. G’s sunglasses survived a whole half an hour of being on holiday before a lens popped out so we also stopped at the opticians so they could mend them for him.

Got the bus along to The Mumbles, checked into our Airbnb then headed down to the seafront. We found a tiny beach at the end that had a little bit of sunshine left, and was just the right size for G to have his first swim of the week.

Veggie fish and chips (battered halloumi), a glass of wine and a little walk along the coast path for our first night.
