Sophie Through The Time Stone

We took Sophie for a walk and a picnic at Ham Hill Country Park this morning. Here she is peeping through one of the Time Stone sculptures at the top of the hill.

According to the Park website "The Time Stones mark the route of the
River Parrett Trail over Ham Hill. They were carved in 1996 by Evelyn Body. The design of the tall stone was inspired by Bronze Age axe heads found on the Hill, while the round stone is modelled on part of an Iron Age bucket handle."

I think I've blipped them before on one of my walks here but I've added a shot of them n extras.

When we got back Sophie enjoyed some time inthe paddling pool while we sat in the shade of the old apple tree.
