Maintaining Matilda

Today I drove Matilda over to Essex to see our friend Mick. Mick does all the fiddling, tweaking and general TLC on her for me.

The task today was a general service, new oil, spark plugs, filters, adjusting brakes and greasing nipples. All the excitement caused her to deposit some oil onto his drive...

Over the course of the work quite a few other bits and bobs were discovered that will need attention soon. I will get the parts ordered and she will be visiting him again next weekend.

Going home she behaved wonderfully and seemed much more perkier than before. I think she's getting excited about her trip to Pateley Bridge in August.
