Domestic drama

For two weeks, a gull chick has been slithering about on the roof opposite, tended by a parent, mobbed by other gulls, and growing its wings. The tail still looks too stubby to be helpful, though. Other chicks are sometimes visible on the flat roof above.

The noise when food is brought, or things look dangerous, is ear splitting. Who needs St Abb's.
