CRETE DAY 5

On catchup again!!!

Last day and we woke to #dark clouds!!! :(((
#the beach towels kept off the rain but we still smiled!!!!
As the dark clouds continued we went on an Auntie Jane walking tour across the causeway to an ancient church and a mosaic.
#it was very windy...
#we added some stones to the stone tower
We walked back along the front stopping for coffees, wine , beer and ice cream.
Then back for a shower relay( as the hotel had kindly let us keep one room) before we went to Grandmas taverna for our last meal. It was delicious and all homemade. Shame the ran out of some choices:(
The taxi collected us at 8...smooth journey to the extremely busy airport. The luggage conveyor belt had broken! The queues were ridiculous. Luckily we only had hand luggage!!! The flight was only 45 mins late taking off and we all managed a little bit of sleep but I was glad to get to bed at 4AM....for 3 hours sleep!!!

Thankful for ..... another successful trip with the girls full of laughter
